The sensor probe is simply buried 6 to 8 inches underground beside your driveway and a wire (up to 2,500 ft) runs back to the console in your house. The console's buzzer sounds for an adjustable duration when a car passes by, and also can activate 2 auxiliary Form A relays for switching On lights, alarms, cameras, bells, X10, etc.
